Giving a toddler a haircut, at least MY toddler, is like wrestling an alligator! However, I’ve found a place that can handle a screaming, wiggling child!
This week, we made our second visit to Snip-Its Haircuts for Kids.
Each station has a TV, where children can watch cartoons, listen to music or even watch movies. The stylists there are experts on how to cut the hair of scared and upset children! Blake was upset as soon as we put him in the chair. The seasoned stylist instantly handed him some goldfish crackers, then a few animal crackers.
Here’s Blake, after he calmed down, stuffing his face! You can see me in the mirror, sporting a hat and sweatshirt. We were in a hurry this morning…no time for me to get gussied up! ha!
Blake cried for about the first five minutes of the haircut, but the snacks, cartoons, and the calm demeanor of the stylist made what could have been a disaster….very bearable.
The prices aren’t bad either. Blake’s haircut was only around $12.00. Well worth the price, in my opinion!
Where do you take your kids to get their haircuts? Do they like getting their hair cut or does it scare them? I’m so thankful for places like Snip-Its, that know how to handle kids and can get the job done!

How come the 2nd picture is so small?
I wanted to see his fac! HAHA!
I’m not sure. I tried to make it bigger but it wouldn’t let me. Who knows??

Thank you! So sweet of you! I’ll pay it forward!
I need to take Baby Diva there. My son used to go there when he was Blake’s age, and then at the age of 3 I transitioned him to a normal super cuts near out house. It’s more convenient because snip its is further away.
You rule, says me! I am nominating you for the versatile blogger award. For more information checkout this post http://momonthegoinholytoledo.com/2012/04/24/versatile-blogger-award/ Have a fabulous day!
